It has a beautiful, long sandy beach, clear blue waters, and enchanting sunsets.<\/p>\n<p>A big, windless bay with the village and the port of Aegiali on the south end. The village has grocery stores, bakeries, newspaper stands, a pharmacy as well as some very special bars, cafes, and restaurants, most operating from April to October.<\/p>\n<p>The beach of Aegiali is the most popular, but there are 3 more beaches nearby, two of which are accessible only on foot &#8211; an easy walk of 15-30 minutes. Tholaria and Langatha villages, with their traditional settlements and delicious food, are totally worth visiting! To reach the villages, you walk up some footpaths for about 25min., take the car or public bus -3km distance.<\/p>\n<p>The capital of the island is Chora of Amorgos at 19km distance and the main port of Katapola, 22km. away.
